About Me

My name is Ayannah. I am a usability engineer, UX designer, and customer experience enthusiast. I have over 9 years of experience working with clients to solve their business challenges with creative design solution. My process is grounded in one core principle: If users don't enjoy using "it", they are already looking for a better alternative.

I have worked for Deloitte Consulting LLP and Lockheed Martin Corporation during my career. The web, mobile, and print projects I have worked on with federal agencies include National Archives and Records Administration, Food and Drug Administration, the Pentagon, National Aeronautics and Space Administration, and Customs and Border Protection.

I have received awards and nominations including 2011 Celebration of Excellence for my eCatalog project, 2013 Women of Color Technology Rising Star Award and down-selected for 2013 BEYA Most Promising Engineer for a STEM-focused customer experience project, and nominated for the 2015 Health and Human Services Innovation Award for mobile design.
