Social Network Concept UX/UI: me ii
I developed a socio-explorative networking concept that builds a community of people to connect with others that have similar traits, lifestyles, and interest.
The goal is to promote positivity, compassion, and cross-cultural interaction. I envisioned this concept based on a world where we are able to see how much we have in common with others regardless of race, gender, lifestyle, or cultural differences.
What is me ii?
me ii (pronounced me too) is a socio-explorative community app that lets a user tag themselves with any word(s) describing aspects of their life, character, or personality traits. Each word(s) will be entitled “I am [a, an, the, or for]…” and these word(s) will build connections with other users who have the same traits.
me ii encourages users toward self-reflection and self-discovery, sharing who they are with the world, and an exploration of the interconnectedness toward oneself and the world. When a user shares an “ I am…”, we get to see others that identify themselves in the same way.
People are able to share their uniqueness while seeing how much we have in common with another. This defies cultural, socio-economic and race, exploring the connections and similarities with those we never thought we had things in common with or people we would have never otherwise connected with.
I designed the core functionality of the app - shared connections with one or multiple users.
